The march of time is,
I fear, unerringly recorded
in one's face. Changes
of this sort naturally call
for a new photo. By 2001
I knew that John Rosenthal
was undoubtedly the best
picture-taker in the area. His
way with lighting, the absence
of clutter, make likenesses
which conceal nothing, but
highlight the best. I am grateful.
